我爱祖国, 但用的是奇异的恋爱!
I love my homeland, but in the strangest way;
连我的理智也不克不及把它造胜．
My intellect could never conquer it.
无论是鲜血换來名誉、
Whether it was the glory which was earned through my blood,
无论是充滿了傲岸的虔信的安好、
Or peace full of proud piety,
无论是那远古时代的神圣的传言,
Or sacred sagas from distant past,

But I do love - and I dont know why

With joy, that people fathom not,

I feel the rush of threshing scenes,
笼盖着稻草的农家草房、
The covered with foliage huts,
镶嵌着浮雕窗板的小窗;
The ornamented window screens.
而在有露珠的节日夜晚
And on the evening of the fete
在那醒酒的农夫笑谈中,
旁观那伴着口哨的跳舞,

I like to watch till the midnight
