The 5th China International Import Expo (CIIE) 2022 is held in Shanghai, China from Nov. 5 to Nov. 10 in National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC). It attracts 145 countries, regions and international organizations, as well as 284 industry-leading (行业领先)enterprises (企业), including some of the world's top 500 companies.
第五届中国国际进口展览会(CIIE)于11月5日至11月10日在中国上海国度会展中心举行。此次进博会吸引了145个国度、地域和国际组织，以及284家行业领先企业，此中包罗一些世界500强企业。
During the CIIE, rail traffic police dogs will patrol (巡查)relevant stations. Police dogs can help better intercept (拦截)contraband (违禁品)and ensure the safety of venues (场馆). The police dogs need to follow a strict schedule to keep themselves in good working condition and usually work in hour-long (一小时的)shifts (轮班).

Total Lunar Eclipse
月全食
On Nov. 8, 2022, a total lunar eclipse took place in many places of China. During a total lunar eclipse, the Sun, Earth, and Earth's moon line up in space. The Sun shines on Earth, creating a shadow that is just large enough to cover the Moon.
2022年11月8日，中国良多地域都可不雅测到月全食。在月全食期间，太阳、地球和地球的月亮在太空中排成一列。太阳照射在地球上，构成的暗影刚好能遮住月球。
Another interesting phenomenon also happened when the Moon passed in front of Uranus (天王星), making Uranus shortly “disappear” for about one hour. The next time for both scenes to happen at the same time will be in 4344.

World Laureates Forum
世界顶尖科学家论坛
The World Laureates Forum, an annual (每年的)gathering since 2018 of top scientists from across the world, kicked off (起头)its fifth edition on Nov.6 in Shanghai. The Forum is hosted by World Laureates Association and China Association for Science and Technology.
11月6日，上海举行了第五届世界顶尖科学家论坛。自2018年以来，世界顶级科学家每年城市在此齐聚一堂。该论坛由世界顶尖科学家论坛和中国科学手艺协会主办。
The two-day event, themed "Science Forward: Create a Bright Future," attracted the participation of 60 winners of top science awards, including 27 Nobel Prize laureates (获奖者) and more than 30 Chinese academicians (两院院士). They will deliver speeches and have round-table discussions (圆桌讨论)on the topics ranging from the future of digital intelligence (数字智能)to the shared future of human health.
为期两天的论坛以“科学向新，共创将来”为主题，吸引了60位顶级科学奖项的获奖者，包罗27位诺贝尔奖得主，30余位中国两院院士。他们迁就数字智能的将来、人类安康的配合将来等多个主题颁发演讲，并停止圆桌讨论。
Drought
干旱
A drought killed 205 elephants between February and October in Kenyan wildlife reserves (庇护区), Tourism Minister Peninah Malonza said on Nov. 4 Kenya recorded the deaths of 512 gnus (非洲牛), 381 zebras, 12 giraffes and 51 buffalo (水牛)in the same period.
肯尼亚旅游部长Peninah Malonza 于11月4日暗示，本年2月至10月，干旱招致肯尼亚野生动物庇护区205头大象灭亡。在统一时间，肯尼亚还记录了512头牛、381头斑马、12头长颈鹿和51头水牛的灭亡。
Officials say more than 500,000 people in the northern Kenyan region of Turkana are facing starvation (饥荒), largely due to a lack of rainfall over four seasons.
有关官员说，肯尼亚北部图尔卡纳地域有50多万人正面对饥荒，次要原因是四时降雨量不敷。
