What are some of your favorite Korean films? Could you recommend them for me?
I would like to share three of my favorite Korean films with you.
The first film is "My Body's Part," which is a classic South Korean movie that explores the lives of members of a society of criminal underworlds. Despite being very ordinary, it manages to make audiences feel uncomfortable and not get bored. The protagonist, who passes through seven trials before achieving freedom, has a strong sense of justice and honor. This is an excellent business entertainment film. Both male lead actors have great acting skills. They truly impress with their ability to convey emotions.
The second film, "My Soul's Path," tells the story of all those who die in a fire within 49 days after death - these include criminals, lazy people, liars, selfishness, betrayal, violence, family relationships, etc. Through seven trials, only those who pass the tests of conscience and Lee Dae春 can be declared innocent and have a chance of finding life again.
The third film, "Love Story from Korea," is based on a comic book by Korean author姜草. It follows two people living in the same village whose love story develops over time. At the age of 70, two old people love each other deeply until they both pass away. Age, difficulty, or even poverty seem to have no meaning in love.
And here's a fourth film, "Snowtrain," about 2031 where humans attempt to stop global warming. After an ice storm kills most of humanity, the remaining survivors board a train called a Noah's Ark, which travels around the Earth in an ever-increasing orbit. On the ship, there are different classes of passengers: those who are hungry, living in poor conditions, and at the bottom of the Titanic; a revolution led by Curtis. In order to survive, the group goes rowing through the corridors of one car after another, leading to a revolution against the front cars. The ending means that the two children, who escape from the train, meet polar bears. It also implies that life continues to exist and thrive.
Finally, "Gloaming furnace" is a film that represents the dark side of society. Every character is vividly portrayed, and emotional control is handled well. The movie ends with anger, regret, sorrow, and tears,等各种情感像雾一样的浓雾一样久久不能散去,永远萦绕在我心头。
